hello wundrin if anyone could help,

 

looking at a certain z at the mo and the seller says "The HICAS switch has been bypassed so that its always on boost at low revs."

 

is this good or bad and could anyone enlighten me on this.....

 

also he claims that he has lost the history should i go for a look i suppose it wouldnt hurt....... any replies would be wicked cheerz guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Don't understand how Hicas and boost are related dude! :rolleyes:

If the Hicas as been by-passed like mine has, it just cuts out the rear wheel steering!

And if you do go looky-take someone who knows z's or at least get an independant inspection done-you can buy a whole lot of trouble with these cars mate.

380bhp with a superchip? I don't think so.

 

A racing gearbox? who makes that then????

 

And as said above, the HICAS is absolutely nothing to do with boost.

 

Not too sure this seller knows his stuff :(
