Is it possible to change a left hand drive Z into a right hand drive one, anyone ever done it or know someone who has? What would the cost be? This may seem a mad question but there is a reason. :hyper:

it would involve a lot of work! steering rack (+subframe?), dash & instrumentation, column, new/modified wiring loom, pedalbox, centre console, handbrake & cable, headlights, relocating of ECU's, etc etc

i remember working for Lancia when the Intergarale 1st come out - there was a co that used to do these conversions. had one come in. fookin lot of work tho!!

TopChilla yes very possible to do yourself, have done it the other way around for a customer who wanted to take his UK zed to Italy when he moved his business and family, could not be parted with his ride, hardest part on that job was finding a left hand drive zed donor car!!! did require an inspection test so he could register it in Italy

I see I was just wondering as there are some fantastic Z's over the ocean in the US. Then again there are also ones in Japan with the wheel on the right side. Thanks all.

That is your best option mate ;)

Too much work & expense to convert a £5000 car IMHO
