Now why is it that in every film, HERBY is rescued from a scrap heap as an abused car, then he turns into a super car. Why is it every owner chucks him on the scrap heap. Whats the underlying problem with the car. Does he eat his owners or something.

He fancy's himself as a Zed:) Mine was laid up for 2 years needed mega welding but I've kicked the ass out of a couple a new beetles (Golf GTI just heavier) :)

Its because he always used to **** about all they wanted to do is get from A to B and herby would do a D tour :)

 

My beetle never ran as well as that one though! was a drastic jump going from a 1641cc 1972 VW beetle to a 3.0ltr twin turbo 300zx :dance: but never looked back

becuase its a film and it makes a better story...
