Theres a little trick to get your Zed to pass the emission test...theres a pipe near the plenum that you take off...dunno what one.

There is a link on here somewhere...It might be posted in the techincal forum or on AndyP's site....i cant remember.

As for the bushes....MJP ;)

I thought cars that were pre 95 were exempt from emissions as cats weren't compulsory until 95? or it it that the garage I go to has got it all wrong.

93 is the compulsary year for cat emissions testing. It's not compulsary to have a cat fitted, but for a car to pass the cat emissions test, it's unlikely to do it unless it has one.

Cars after Aug 92 have to have cats emission tests, but as their is no emissions data for the 300zx (!) they must test the car as a non-cat equipped car. Until 1995 when they all had to be tested, wether or not they had emissions data or not.

Gutted for you Jay! :headvswal

More things to sort out. :(
