Hello,

I've subscribe so I asked questions ^^

My rear wheel have a game from left to right.

I've already change the bearing but the game is still here.

I've call nissan this morning and they told me that to change the toothed rack of HICAS it will cost around 6000€ :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

So I wondered before why they were selling HICAS eliminator in the Us but I think that can solve my problem, no?

Is there any body here driving with this? is it ok?

Sorry for my English

from what i've read on here if you have lateral play in your rear wheels i think its your hicas arms and not the rack, i dont know if a hicas eliminator will sort this out or if you need new arms

Chris at GetGReddy on the Traders section of this site sells them. I also have a Never been used Nistech ellininator for sale.

as Yaseen has said - its probably in the Hicas link arms, NOT the rack!! these are about £50 each + fitting.

even if you get an eliminator kit, you usually have to fit the link arms to it, so you will still need new arms!!

Mike Feeney @ MJP sells these.

HTH :)

Not so with the Nistech kit. Which I think is a copy of the Boarder eliminator. As it comes with ajustable arms with a rose joint on the eliminator end and threads strait into you existing track rod end

So what is the raison why so many people use HICAS Eliminator??

I heard that it's because when you increase too much the HP, then you can destroy easily your rear bearing.

Do you have an idea?

I removes the vagueness of the rear end and give a more possitive feel to the car while high speed cornering. Which might sound silly as HICAS was ment to improve cornering, but if you drive her hard it doesn't.

I ordered this NisTech system, but it took so long to come I fitted the Stillen bar instesd. So now I have a NisTech never used for sale.

the hicas eliminator is also supposed to stop the sideways launch you get if you sneeze on the steering wheel, only (professionals) are supposed to launch straight with hicas on. I think i have managed it about 5 times!!
