Getting quite excited now. Just had an email from the dealer I'm getting it from. Car has now arrived in Southampton and clearance papers have been submitted. Car is being delivered today or tomorrow. :mac1:

On Saturday myself Richard Smith and Gio are going to have a good look over it and take it for a drive. So I'll put down a proper deposit then as I only have a holding deposit. :hyper:

Sorry for this rather boring thread......

LOL! It stays in the garage if it breaks...it's staying standard pretty much, so no straining it!! It's also not going to be used as a daily driver. I'm getting a new company car soon which can chew up the motorway and get covered in shit and stone chips.

full stillen kit and new tubs soon then!!!

LOL, no, just a delimiter chip, maybe I'll turn the boost up a tiny bit, but within the bounds of safety!

I Agree. I've got the bug now. Bought a bog standard 91 TT Jap Spec in January and have already spent 5 grand on paper, gonna be a mad 6 months of modding... Then there's the engine... Mmmmmm.

right, so to chip it & increase the boost your gonna need an induction & exhaust. the clutch will go if its a manual so your gonna need an uprated clutch - hmm, may as well fit that lightwieght flywheel too then. if its an auto then thats gonna break to, so now you need a fast road rebuild or convert to manual................ then fit the uprated clutch & lightweight flywheel!! :hyper:

ok, now your gonna want to fit a lightweight underdrive pulley to complement your flywheel, by this time your noticing your brakes dont feel so good at these speeds - best get some uprated ones now then. :wack:

now your trying to corner at speeds greater than ever cos your accelerating so quick, suspensions a bit soggy. time for some uprated shocks & springs - smart, that'll help! (may as well get those shiney adjustable upper & lower arms to get rid of those silly bushes & to make sure the alignments all in ;) )

by now the cars cornering & stopping better than its ever done - even as a new car leaving the factory :hyper: hmmmm doesnt feel quite as quick as it did now then - best get those uprated tubs & injectors!!! :x:

good luck!!!

Wish I was you!.....aahhhh...the first time, excitement, fear, getting used to people turning their heads, ..............best of luck fella ;)

during the summer I'll make any old excuse to go to the local shop, there's a pub/ beergarden right beside it, and the looks it gets parked outside!!! Not bad for a 14 year old Nissan.

Zeds are the best kept secret in sportscars :hyper:

CRAIG DAVID,,,,Have you had to spend anything on the car in 18 months?

No.

I've had it serviced but that's just been oil, filters plugs etc. It's been very cheap to run. It is a late registered car though.

And I'll probably get the cam belts changed and four new discs at the next service which won't be cheap - but I guess all cars need them anyway.
