Yeah, good question. My autoglym pack from jtuner has a 'vinyl and rubber care' bottle. hoping that'll do the trick.

Just stip them down ....nice chrome shinny under the plastic paint....;)

:slap: thought you meant the front screen.....Doh.:slap:

You can get stuff called Back to Black or something like that. Available from Halfrauds. HTH ;)

Black shoe polish? lol remembers years ago in training shoe polishing everything that was rubber and black. Bloddy nightmare!! Dave

May take a look on the shelves at Halfords tomorrow - will let you know if I have any luck...

The sills on my doors are going silver, is this a common problem? Whats the best way to restore them.

If its still for sale in the shops you want turtle wax black trim wax.

I found a bottle in my garage thats been in there for years, so i dunno if its still for sale.

Its got a black pigment to it just like colour magic, i used it on my very grey window seals and rear window surround, and also on all the plastics inside the boot.

The results were amazing, when this bottle ive got runs out, i'll be tracking some more down.

No exageration to say its the best product ive ever used on these bits.

Actually this is a good one to use......

.....Cherry Blossom football boot polish works wonders on the black strips round the windows and targas.

Plus it's waterproof and lasts for months - only £1-2 from a supermarket to boot! (no pun intended ;) )

Richard :D

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Will Have to try the polish...

Was in halfords earlier and they sell a black pigmented trim cleaner.

If it's black plastic, I use tyre gel. On a wee sponge. Blob size of a pea goes a long way.

Extreme green from turtle wax. The gel in a bottle, not the spray.

Lasts longer
