Hi.. I hope someone can help...

I have just bought a 300zx on ebay - its a 2+2 Fairlady TT import from Japan.

The seller said that the Jap Fairlady TT models have 380 BHP standard... it seems alot compared with the other 300ZX's i come across...

What are the differances between the UK and Jap spec cars?? are the fairlady models different??

I cant wait to get my hands on the car... its delivered next saturday!!!

Cheers Z Man

I bought my car off ebay as well very cheap as it need some tlc..mines a import 2000 and its really good condition apart from some rough bugger who didnt look after the litle details like battery holder and a rough fix up job on the soak like a sponge spoiler!

I think the japanese drive their cars very well so its probably been looked after! good score!

Hi and welcome! Don't want to sound negative but buying imports from a dealer is a dodgy business, so ebay always worries me. There's been a few threads here recently on ebay cars , some of which have been spotted by 300zx members as absolute dogs being sold under all sorts of pretences.

I really hope the car is a good one, you will probably have to spend some money on it, you always will when you buy a Zed first time, but as the guys have said, subscribe. There's great money saving advice, trader discounts and a lot of craic to be had :duffer:
