I wouldnt buy an electic zed.

But if i lived in London or something i would buy one of those shitty little electric cars from India. I seen a guy with one on 'car nation' on Sunday night. Horrible looking little thing but well handy. I would still have to have the zed of course.

One of the main things wrong with any alternative fuel cars is they look crap, thats why i put that it looks and performs like a zed but without the noise, which is one of the things i like with any car, performance or not. When ive been in my parents Toyota Prius (Sp?) I always think is this thing on?

Id keep a little electric car in the boot of my zed to use if the zed breaks down!!!!

you just need a CD of loud engine noises to play when your driving it :D

i might as well have an electric z32 coz my fukker wont start, electrics are fine though, :smash:

Especially if it was like the DMC in back to the future?

But yes I would the technology is coming together now and soon they will have 150MPH leco's.

yeah i want the one jackie chan had in cannonball run i'm sure it was electric...well it made a funny whirring noise....had radar or sommit so they could switch their lights off at night and aviod the police...crazy...:D

 yes when I am 90 if I live that long. Would go to the shops on the path. Well better than walking.

In theory, yes I would.

But, I'd want some big ass dump valves so I could creep up on people, silently, then - PPPPSSSSHHHHHHTTT - scare the bejeezes outta them :D:D

Yes I would buy one for work. I would be raking it in from paying very little company car tax and makes loads off my allowances that I get. One of the guys in my work has one and it looks OK (Honda Civic). But with his car it runs on leccy when you are driving like a granny and uses the petrol part of the engine to recharge etc. But put your foot down and its all petrol engine.

Just like Hovis best of both, get the good and bad out of the car. Not sure on the speed though but sure to be slow, definately very slow compared to the Zed.

Back to the question, a leccy car that looked like a Zed, Yes but too quiet for me, I like the fact that I can put car alarms off in enclosed streets with the noise. :D

I would. But when they are established. They will end up looking like the cars we have now but just think of the environment :D sound boring don't I?

i'd have onr for going to work and stuff, but you'd still have to have a weekend car!!

The technology is there, it is just a matter of refining it and makig it affordable. The car companies have to realise that people don't want stupid lookng cars so as soon as they put electric motors in nice looking cars then people will buy them. Quike like the new lexus hybrid!
