Hi all, i've had some new tyre's fitted to my car and guess what? they seem to have mixed up the wheel's direction wise!!

Now i don't know which one's are fitted in the right direction but i have both side's of the car's wheel's pattern's opposite and the tyre's are on the right direction. look's like i may have to take them back and have them refitted but i don't know which one's are incorrect? :(

Remember they are Uk wheel's !!

I wonder how many owner's really know that they are directional wheel's :p

You will find L & R embossed in the rim casting. F&R is not marked, just make sure the wide ones are on the rear ;)

And the wider UK rears have strengthning webs on the inside, so they are easy to spot even with a tyre on.

can't find left and right the wider ones are on the rear's with webs but what about the front one's the narrower one's?

I've been told before the wheel's are directional just like the tyre's?

L 40P05 left and R 40P00 right..... on the rim in one of the "holes"

They have put the rear's on the wrong side's, front's are OK!!! :( now i have to take it back!!!

Yeh, its quite common IF you dont tell em before hand to do it correctly.

Clever f**ker who did mine said "yeh Im a tyre fitter , I know which way the tyres go".

So for the second time I said. "Just make sure you do the same with the wheels"

Then he calmed down a bit and asked me to help him get it done correctly!!!!

He simply had no idea.

yeah, i know what you mean. I drew arrows on my rims in whiteboard marker pen to 'help' them :D
