i bought and fitted the conversion kit, got fed up within 2 weeks of people beeping me for no indication, then i went and fitted the 99spec, I was much happier with the overall look and much happier .

Trinity - don't forget you can sell your old lights if you go for new 99 spec. Its the only way to go!

Arrrrrrrrr roite...now I thought those were J-spec lights (excuse my ignorance). Please don't tell me that J-spec lights are similar to Lexarse stuff as I'll be most embarrased as I suggested those in another thread.

they are the same thing - sort of! the conversion kit is a set of clear lenses to replace the orange lenses and make em look like 99 spec!

as said, should be a case of heating the sealant , prising it apart and swapping the lenses!

oh yeah and putting orange bulbs in too!

they are different, the lens are different, the conversion kits are basically chopped out of ceiling light material, the nissan ones have a pattern designed to scatter light lover the whole length of the indicator, plus another peice of plastic that helps scatter light and they are chromed,

10x better light that the conversion.

I fancy a set of the pukka '99 spec ones. Seem kinda expensive though. Are they available anywhere other than the Z Centre ?

If you do decide to go with the conversion, really be careful when warming them in the oven. When i did mine , I didn't leave them in long enough. Was able to open them quite easily, but when putting them back together they had gone quite cold and were a bit of a struggle. But I would imagine in our current weather, you shouldn't have that problem.

Anyway, I'm perfectly happy with mine.
