Anyone ever had dealings with 'Amplified-Performance'?

Been looking at their stock lists for some months now and they seem to get a decent throughput of Zs.

Some seem a little cheap, but you do have to add shipping costs and such like as they are only agents.

Just wondering if anyone has ever used them in the past and if they offer a good service and decent vehicles.

http://www.amplified-performance.com if no one's used them before...but I guess most of you have heard of them.

Thanks :D

The prices they have completely exclude everything, thats why they seem cheap, once you add conversion, re-registering, shipping etc. they're just as expensive as everyone else.

I asked them how much for one car, the reply said it had been sold but it didn't answer any of the other questions I asked. I emailed them again with some details, asking them for a price on another car, I got no-repsonse at all. I really liked the look of one of their cars and would have been all set to buy, but since they couldn't be bothered to answer emails I took my business elsewhere.

I had same issues with them...didn't want my business so..

I've spoken to them on the phone and they seem pretty confident they can find me exactly what I'm looking for. But it would mean buying it blind I guess. They do offer a 7 day warranty or something gay like that.

Oh yeah, do understand their shipping costs and stuff. But for a car over 10 years old, you add on around 800 quid for shipping and an MOT/Registration.

my mate has recently imported a celica thats over ten years old, it cost about £1300 in japan. by the time he got it here and paid for all neccessary extras his total price was about £3000.......if you can get it done for £800 it seems very cheap!

It's a price listed on their website. Well, there is a 'package' you can buy so they tell me.

It's just another avenue I could go down if I can't find anything I want.

Thanks for the links there. Seem to have a great selection of Z's there. Might see what he can do about getting an SWB version...doubt I'd have enough money for one though. Some lovely examples on there though.

Have a look at http://www.autoterminal.com they are major importers of Jap cars. You have to register as a company to use them but you can just make one up if need be. There are three options. You can buy off the stock list, have them find you a car or link directly to auctions in Japan. You don't pay the asking price for the car you like but make them an offer and barter like a normal sale here. Prices include shipping, SVA/MOT, registry and a few other things if I rem correctly. A pal of mine bought a Celica GT-4 and could not be happier.

Along the same lines, has anyone ever used 'zedworld'?

Actually, scrap that, did a search and see that they are held in quite high regard. Just spoken to Jeff there and he's on a hunt for a nice silver red or pearl white manual twin turbo. :)
