Hi all,

Quick question: I have just bought a UK Z, which I understand should have adjustable suspension. How is this adjustment made?

Cheers.

If its adjustable you will be able to see either an adjuster knob on the bottom section of the shocks or a little screw in the top of the shock stem...some have both....not sure if std suspension has any adjustment???...anyone?

Cheers guys; I had actually been told that the adjustment was made by clicking the handbrake lever up one notch--but, to be honest, I didn't believe it!

I definitely wanted to get a second opinion before I started driving around with the handbrake idiot light on...

Clicking the handbrake up one notch will put it into sports mode. However it's not intended to be used in this way - the adjustable suspension on UK Zeds is fully automatic. It will switch to sports mode above a certain speed to improve handling.

Clicking the handbrake up once notch is a good way of testing it though.

yeah, as said - the rear shocks are adjusted automatically on UK cars. the handbrake is just a test mode.

US cars had front & rear adjustable shocks with an overide button in the centre console.

junk them & get some KYB's ;)
