Had Rear strut brace fitted...

Had new tryes...

Had 4 wheel tracking...

The rears are wearing on the inside only :smash:

Why is this please?

is it camber?

or

badly set tracking?

and what should the tracking settings be please?

Did you not get a print out of your wheel setting when you got it tracked? It should say on there what the camber was.

Does the rear wheel wobble? Bad bearing track rod?

Spring height? Measure from the ground to the top of the wheel arch and see if they are different heights.

ello...

nah..no print out...it wasnt top of the range equipment so i think i'll have to go else where.

No wheel wobble.

Had new track rod end on left side...

Thing is both rears are worn on insides....could it be the camber now ive fitted the strut and eliminator?

Is it adjustable on the rears?

Will check the springs tomoz thanks...

sounds like the camber angle is too severe making the tyre lean intowards the car at the top which makes the tyre footprint ( contact area) be biased toward the inside edge ..have it checked out asap tyres for these things aint cheap as you know

It could also be tracking. Too much toe out would lead to inner edge wearing.

Thanks everyone...

I now know its either:-

1)Camber

2)Track out

3)Saggy springs

I will get all three checked before putting yet another set of boots on :(

I never had this problem before I had the eliminator fitted so thinking the tracking guys have got poop equipment...didnt look all that...will try somewhere else :smash:

and am I reading right in PAulC's thread by thinking you can buy extra spacers to adjust the rear camber even more?

Lunch Time soon peeps...you peckish yet?

you cant get spacers for the rear, however you can get replacement arms that give a wider range of adjustment :)
