Exhaust Knackered- Advice on replacement??

Hi Guys, the curse of the Z has struck me again!! Got the car up in the air this evening to adjust my squealing fan belt and after starting it up to check my handy work realised that I had a blow from the pipes. On closer inspection found that 1 back box has been squashed (done b4 I got it!!!)and is actually split!!!

Need help on a decent s/s replacement. HAve seen the blue flame cat back system on ebay and seems pretty good.

What do you think guys?

Also I want 2 pipes at the rear not the usual quad pipes.

as mrogers said, blue flame is very good, but 4 pipes.

I got powerflow backboxes with single tailpipe - was given choice of tailpipe style since the powerflow are "custom built" from a modular system.

Looks great with the oval pipes IMO.....I'll take some snaps if you like...been meaning to get the car pics up for a while anyway....

You reckon Blue Flame could make some with only twin pipes? They do custom ones dont they?

Gonna sound thick as fook now............. A cat back system will just bolt straight on from the cats will they? Its a lwb tt.

im pretty sure they can do something different for ya - they started off doing custom stuff!

You can buy the twin-single exit Mongoose systems from Z centre or Danny @ DTA.

See traders sections - Z Centre were doing a good deal on this earlier this year, £470 all in including delivery IIRC. It has a 6x4 oval pipe each side, similar to Cybernet's car in rides sections.

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
