Need new turbos

Sent my Turbo Technics stage 1 hybrids back to them last week to see what's up. They've done about 75,000 miles over five years so can't really complain. However, apparently, they're totally shafted and can't be repaired so I'm looking for new ones.

 

I've haggled them down to £1060 + VAT for a new pair. I'm now open to any recommendations as to alternatives so please give me any ideas and views you may have. And if you're a trader, make me an offer!

    personally mate id recomment the jwt sport 530's if u got the cash. excellent reviews but just cost a bit.

    depends what you want really, quick spool against top end. What kind of bhp level would you like, then get the smallest turbo that'll get there for the best spool.

    No disrespect to you Mayo as the seller is being deceptive, they are HKS T25g a 270 degree thrust bearing turbo not capable of holding more than 15psi!

    ok you cant run big psi but fitting auto turbos to a manual is a good idea,should get better spool up and cheap way of doing it :)

    ive been e-mailing him and said i can buy them now for £900 so i played him at his own game and said yes ok but i will pick them up and give you cash

    he came out with evey reason why i cant meet him!!!

    As long as the housing is fine you should be OK. ANd I cant see the housing being in OK condition unless your turbo blades exploeded

    Hi mate

     

    Housings are cracked around the waste gates.

     

    Going to probably get another pair of Turbo Technics hybrids as they've lasted quite a long time considering. And they're quite cheap compared to others.
