I had a metal end tank fabricated on my std radiator, Koyo not in the budget for the minute.

Anyway, its been off for ages and fitted last night. I just want to check there are no pipes/hose that go onto the 2 pipes/nipples on the r/h/s of the rad. Otherwise I guess they just go to air? (as you're looking at it from the front).

Not explained it very well, a pic would be better but at work now so not able to. Thing is, I ran the car for 10-15 mins and the rad hardly got hot and temp needle barely moved. I fitted a hard pipe kit at the same time.

Thanks.

Is it an auto or man? The Jap Auto Rad has 2 connections on the right for the oil hoses from autobox. The UK auto Rad had 2 connections on each side for the same thing. The Man rad had none. If its a Manual u dont need to connect anything to these nipples.

Ita Jap Auto and I had an extra autobox rad fitted some time ago, which I guess is why there are no pipes connected? And ok to leave to air? They would have been ever since the autobox cooler was fitted and been fine. Thanks.

Thanks peeps. It was taking so long to show any temp increase, I thought I'd done something wrong.........must just be extra efficient now!
