Just checking - just about to buy a rear strut brace but have KYB's all round. Is this going to be a problem?

nope fitted steve's (blackmagic) Stillen one a few weeks ago , just a pain takinf all the bits of trim off

Thanks for that - don't know why I had it in my mind that it was an issue if you had aftermarket shocks. My trim has gone in and out a few times so thats cool, quite like doing stuff like that.

Nice one Jimbo - I'm just a bit worried about cutting into the boot trim and fooking it up :rolleyes: Would be useful to do it next to one that's been done..

the stillen one came with a template so it was easy, got to uses my new dremmal on it

yep no prob's, if steve has it i'll get a scan, might be a bit different for the stillen one as in slight difference in hight but wouldn't be much

i just used a holesaw and cut a round neat hole above the strut tops,dont have to move any trim LOL cut some vinyl or leather and surround any exess gaps worked for me :cool:

 

saves 2hours of feckin around :D

I have scanned the templates but am having trouble with printing it out the same size from the saved file(thought id test it b4 posting)...It always ends up a bit smaller??? :smash: Even if I increase image size it still prints the same size....

What stupid mistake am i making please :slap:
