They dont look as good as a 300 or supra and they dont have as much grunt either?? He was having an orgasm over it having Power steering and an auto box in 1992!! Id like for one of these days a TV show with ppl that know their stuff. Oh yeah just come to me, he said a mid 90's NSX would come in at 37,000 quid!!!! WTF!

I'll second that!!! A mate of mine has an NSX and to be honest it wouldn't even enter my mind to swap my 300 for it. He paid just under 30K and that was for 92 car about 3 years ago, so I don't know where they got the figure of 37K.

i dont think you can really compare the zed to a ferrari 360 or 911 turbo clarkey different finacial bracket

who cares, if you want a good car you can do better than spending god knows how much on some italian thing that looks pap by buying a Zed . They have just as much power, look better, are better to drive (after reading that long thing about HICAS i guess it would be good even though i aint driven one *drool* i want to drive one *explosive crying*) and they cost less. The headlight glass on that porsche was 845 squid, jesus what is this a con!

Personally I like the Honda NSX! In it's day it had the Europeans running scared It probably has the best 'supercar' image, with the general public, of all the Japanese super coupes.

I think that he incorrectly chose to feature the NSX. He was meant to take time out from the Tuscan, 911 Turbo and 360 Modena to show a "value car". Why the hell did he then go and chose a car which he said was in the 25-30k range when the cheapeat of his full price exotics was only 48k (the Tuscan). Surely a better choice for the value car would have been a Z or maybe a mk IV Supra ??

 

Either way, I dont care if the 360 cost £2.56 per mile to run, I want one

One of the reasons that he chose the NSX over, for example, the 300ZX is probably because the latter is as rare as coffee on the moon.

I didn't see the program but the website suggests a 'P' plate Impreza WRX as an alternative.

 

It also says to beware of buying an import. They don't seem to realise that all 'P' plate Impreza WRXs are imports.

NSX is a supercar and was built to be such a car, not quite sure where Nissan wanted to go but definately in the same direction with the 300ZX. However, 300's were dubbed "an affordable super car" which made them sound like shopping at Tesco instead of M&S for your weekly shop...LMAO

 

But you slag off the NSX Clarkey boy when you don't really know what you're talking about!

 

NSX develops around the same power as a 300ZX without blowers and has a gorgeous mid-mounted engine setup! LARGE!

 

NSX is an exclusive car which will always hold its value, unlike a TreVoR or dare I say it...a 300ZX!

I would imagine that they didnt vote for the Ferrari for political reasons i.e. they are a rival GP team.

The porsche was the fastest car on the track by some margin, but overall the Tuscan got the most points...Although practicality and running costs are hardly the main priority for the buyer of such cars.

My choice in the absence of a Lambo would be Ferrari, TVR and then Porsche
