Weired one this but i seemed to have loost boost since Sunday?

I have a Greddy Profec B 2 spec and all seems well with the controller it reads boost ok and all settings seem fine.

There are no loose hoses all are tight and all electrical connections also seem ok.

Whether i seem to set LO or HIGH i can only get 0.5 bar ??????

I think it's the valve but could it be the ECU and should i disconnect and re-set this to see what happens????

Anyone ever had this problem?

Cheers

what are your settings then ? (especially dutycycle, gain and limit)

0.5 bar is roughly safety boost, but controllers over-ride safety boost dont they?

Yes they do. :)

with the controller off you would get safety boost though as thats what the wastegates are set to. Deffinatly a problem with the controller there

Thing is the controller lights up reads boost ok could it just be the valve?????

Is there any resistance test i could do????

It is crap having no boost.....feel like i'm driving Miss Daisy!!!!

I had this problem last year before I started doing loads of work on my car.

My AVC-R would just step into safety boost for no reason?!? Or the valve would stop working? Very stange issue and never did find out what caused it?!?

I hope it doesnt start happening again when she's all back together.... :(

As I said Alex, I diddnt. Since then, I have done SO SO SO much to the car including a new loom and manual conversion, so all the pipes for the boost controller and the wiring have all been disconnectedand now reconnected back up.

If it still plays up then I know its a hardware fault rather than a loose wire or something like that.

I will keep you posted as the car will be back on the road within the next few weeks.
