Caption: "I know the t-tops are prone to leaking but do you really think a drain pipe is the answer"

Just for a laugh I took a pic of what is really up there (yes really!) :-

As you can see there is actually f-all.

This now raises an interesting point, the dustbin end can is actually pretty short and while there is plenty of room for local fauna, badgers etc, they'd better be pretty short ones. Therefore, I guess we can establish that it's all for show, unless the intention is to house a badger and say a snake .... biggrin.gif

Being slightly serious, unless the bit that attaches to the megaphone has a cross-sectional area at least equivalent to that of 2 x 2.5" downpipes, then I'd guess that it is a restriction, so the mod to two separate end cans could pay off.

For an exhaust that none of you like, it gets an aufull lot of attention biggrin.gif

Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce... (sorry no sound!) LOL

ooooh, i got one.....

jeff - "maybe if i get one of these it will impove my horsepower problems"

Can it be connected up to the stereo to play music while you drive? An external sub-woofer of some type?

ok here goes

"Yes now this is the back and where you were before is the front"

"Are you sure you want to buy this???!!"

You think you kid...this sort of thing does happen. I sold one of my previous cars to a student who enthused all over it before getting in and enquiring as to why there were 3 pedals....

"Fast, Faster and Stop" I told him, thinking he was having me on...but apparently not, for he believed me.../*sigh*/. He was also most put out when I asked if he'd ever driven a manual before and told me in no uncertain terms that of course he had, what did I think he was, stupid? I passed no comment... smile.gif

Or you could have

"In this week's Recognising Everyday Car Objects....the Bumper"

wow - that picture's a bit of an optical illusion! It either looks like a door bell type thing, with the depth (z) going from top right to bottom left. Or, the inside of an exhaust - with depth (z - going from the centre out)

i know i know i have a caption

"so thats the exhaust that helped this crap red car wiht crap wheels and a crap ecu make more than 100 bhp more that anything else on the day biggrin.gif

I think Jeff is saying, "Now this is where the other one should be."

or

"You remember that octane booster I sold Wazza, well it was just straight unleaded, now it's gonna detonate like a bastard. hehehhe"

Not quite Warren, I think you were only about 50bhp ahead of the embarrasingly standard one owned by Grant, that has only an SE intake and exhaust !! biggrin.gif

so then whats wrong with your zed andy cause you put se chip and it was 50 bhp less than grants car biggrin.gif

Interesting question, but I don't have an SE exhaust, although I do have the SE intake. I would expect mine to be a little less, just because it is an auto (different turbos & transmission losses etc), but the difference is significant. You have to admit that there must be something special about Grant's though.

an exhaust dont make no where near 20 hp on the wheels let alone 50, so i supsect there is more to his car than meets the eye. well impressed with it.

And if 100 bhp at the wheel sis that easy to attain why the hell dont you all have it biggrin.gif
