Hello there people got a problem. my spoiler`s going all funny on me.it seems that while i`ve been away serving for queen and country some little tike has come along and slashed my stock spoiler. And as it`s been in this lovely weather for some time now it`s started to fall to bit`s and it look`s like the rain has got in to the boot. And has started rusting up the boot. this look`s a bit expensive?

Where is the best place for a stock spoiler or shall i just get a skin on it?.

cheer`s everyone.

Common prob with the stock sponge spoiler - water soaks into it over time and will get into the tailgate and rot it eventually.

Best cure as per above post :) - I did this and all is now well......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i think mine's going the same way - paint bubbles at each corner, then a crack starting from the corner and making its way across to other edge :(

Very common problem. Bin it, its a dated looking spoiler IMO anyway and ruins the zed lines........go smoooth......or 99 spec :)

smooth is the new black my friend - oh yes red is the new black as well so it'll need a re-spray :D

lol - mine got so water logged that when it froze in the winter, the underside of the spoiler split and my rear lights and centre panel developed tiny cracks across the top :(

BTW, it only got like this after my Nissan Mainstealer installed my central brake light for me and didn't reseal the spoiler correctly  :slap:

Oh well, any excuse to upgrade to 99 specs

Steve :)

PS. I've got the ZCentre fibreglass one now
