I'm sure I'm the millionth person to ask about this, so apologies in advance - i did search before posting though!

Is there anyone here between 21-24 who has a 300ZX insured sensibly? I've managed a decent quote from Admiral, but nobody else is anywhere near. Who are the young un's with?

Try elephant.co.uk .. seen some good quotes on here lately for young Zed drivers (£600-£800)

Elephant are part of Admiral and quote me about £10 more than they do. I'm currently with them, but needed another insurer for my own peace of mind - everyone else is quoting me £3k+

Aplan,

Firebond,

Adrian Flux,

Insurance Factory.

Tesco

Try some of these

It depends if its an import aswell im through adrian flux and im paying 1500 im 22 with 4 years no claims and no accidents

:D Or look in the back of any Fast Twat mag for insurance companies

I've been toying with the idea of getting a TT for aaaaages now, and talked myself out of it a couple of times over the last few months. Insurance is the final hurdle to push myself over now!

Also try Chirchill.com, its worth a shot.

Import Twin Turbo with 18's (declared of course :D), 22 4 years NCB, Firebond - £1300 was the best I could find and called literally 50 different companies!

Saga - £395 fully comp jap NA (value £3000) inc business use and +15k miles per year. Mind-you, you'll have to wait another 30 years...

Good luck

Jack

Well I'm 21, 1 years NCB, 1 claim in 03. Cracking postcode, and 8,000miles a year. Been quoted £1,700 fully comp on a 1994 Import TT Manuel. Seems about fair i guess.

That sounds gud gona b 21 @ end of month & elephant qoute £1180 fuly comp 3 ncb GR8 postcode set @ 10,000 miles on uk TT! yrs sounds pritty gud!

Try Adrian Flux mate

22, 2yrs NCB, no accidents, 12k miles per year CAT 2 imob only £1300

:p

Do Z's not have Immobilisers as standard?

Adrian Flux didn't like me and I'd been a customer for a year (a good one too)! First quote £1700 then a month later when I wanted to check again, £2700, hmm!

I've got the admiral quote saved for three months.

Gone from elephant to tesco now back to admiral, 23, 1 yr ncb, 5000 miles per year, use of 2nd car, 18's, filter, chip, exhaust, toad ai606 cat 1, good postcode.

£850 10 month bonus accelerator

No like for like replacement on mods, but just using it to (hopefully) build up ncb!

Just out of interest, copied a list below of postcode risk letters (sorry its a long list or if its been posted before!)

Below is a list of postcodes with the risk assessment for car insurance on a scale of A - F. A = Low Risk

F = High Risk

(the star means - Any motor cycle based in Areas D, E or F must be garaged in a locked and secure building whilst at the policyholders address.
