I still haven't had my foot right to the floor since getting the car back it just feels like it's gonna take off into orbit. Could it be to do with having that extra cylinder firing? I think so! LMAO

 

Came out of work last night, waiting at a junction onto the dual carriageway and out I go heading for the outside lane as I was on my way to Wesco then it happened!!!

 

I shit my shorts! Put my foot down to a about half throttle, turbos came in and I fuckin' fishtailed big time. Lifted off straight away as I'm not used to all this hooligan malarkey and don't really know how to get out of it. Car just flicked back into line and I gently throttled off up the road.

 

Must have looked impressive, but not when there's about 2 foot of concrete central reservation between me and a write off situation it ain't that funny!

 

Thank fuck I'm getting my TC fitted, kindly, by Mr. P this weekend! I've got good rubber on me Z aswell and it was fuckin' DRY-SA-BONE!!!

yeah they can get a bit hairy especially in the wet. The first time we took ours out that happened except we were going round an island at quite high speed, were coming out of the island dad steps on it hit a wet patch and *SHIT* the arse end is all over the place. Still it was the first time he driven a fast car for 15 years or so so cant blame him for acting the idiot

I have to say having driven Tims car today it does feel quick. The autobox feels quite different to mine, changes down less and feels crisper. Could there be a difference betwen a UK and Jap auto ? Has anyone else driven them back to back ?

Andy I have driven both and IMHO the UK one seems more responsive.

The largest roundabout is in Skelmersdale its over 1/2 a mile around it.

I think the one where the A1(M) goes over the M25 may be even longer. However, it is more oval than round which changes the game slightly. It's also slippery, bloody busy, has several traffic lights and probably cameras and lurking plod too.
