Just fitted a sus blitz induction kit, now when revs high get a whistle noise. Thought police where after me first time it happened. Tightened all the screws wtc but still there. Any ideas what it could be, didnt do it before i fitted it.

mainly when reving, quiet upto about 4k and the it starts, as the revs get higher you can hear it sucking all the air in as you say.

Good old induction roar.

i fitted a blitz sus air filter on mine and it also makes a whistle noise at high revs doesnt sound like a normal turbo whistle just a higher pitched whistle but my car runs ok and is a little more responsive so i just ignored it, couldnt find any air leaks so maybe its just what happens when u fit the sus filter (what a pain in the arse to get the standard airbox out) :duffer:

Mine whistles too - not sure if it's a common issue with the Blitz SUS, or we all have dodgy turbos!

i have blitz sus ,,but no whistle ,, but do have dodggy turbo ,,lol,, hope this helps,, but air induction has been on a while and i didnt own car when it was fitted,, i used to own a rover turbo, which did this when fitted new air induction, but second handone i fitted previous didnt whistle ,
