xcellent, congrats on the Venture. How would this work, the Club purchases a minimum of 50, for selling to members ?

I tie knots in the handles, got the idea from the sainsburys home delivery people, they tie up all the bags. Of course this means you cant get as much in each bag, use 25% more bags and I am personally responsible for destroying the environment....

 

now I have guilt...

Just to clear up a few questions.

 

When you lock 2 or more bags of groceries together, they hardly move at all & i live in the land of roundabouts! Unless ur red lining it sideways out the car park ;)

 

You can buy 1 or get some for your mum, missus, aunt Ethel !!! Your not restricted to 1 per member.

 

Also I've been asked to look into the possibility of putting a 'Z' logo on the 'guide tab' - I'll see what the embossers want for new artwork & tooling!

 

As suggested, If the 'club commitee' want to do something on this, fine I'll help out etc.

Have tried these ... waste of time/money at least for shopping bags (will hold other items such as laptops, toolkits (altbeit not too heavy), amps in place nicely). Shopping bags are obviously far taller than these blocks and will still topple over. I think Harve's solution - lock from the top - is far superiour because you're using the combined weight of the bags to keep them in place whilst effectively closing the top to prevent items from toppling out.
