HI GUYS SO HERE IT IS AFTER A LOT OV DELIBARATION IVE DECIDED THAT A 300ZX IS FOR ME IVE BEEN TORN BETWEEN A SKYLINE AN EVO OR A MITSI GTO (WHICH IVE TEST DROVE AND DIDNT THINK MUCH TO IT TO BE HONEST)ANYWAY AS IT HAPPENS I WANT THE RARIST MODEL THE Z32 TT MANUAL SWB MODEL IVE LOOKED INTO IT AND DECIDED THATS THE BABY FOR ME.I WILL USE IT MAINLY FOR PLAYING BUT I WANT TO TAKE IT TO SANTA POD TOO.IVE LOOKED AT ALL THE PARTS SUPPLIERS ON HERE BUT WHEN I DO GET IT I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO USE AS I WANT TO SERIOUSLY TUNE IT (DOES ANY1 KNOW HOW THESE LUMPS HANDLE NITROUS) I AM A MECHANIC SO NO PROBS WITH THE WORK BUT I NEED SOME ADVICE ON MY CHOICE OV MOTOR FOR WHAT I AM INTENDING (IS THIS THE CAR FOR ME?)ANYWAY ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND DEPENDING ON YOUR REPLIES HAS ANY1 GOT A MINTER FOR SALE???ONLY THE BEST WILL DOODLE DOO IM AFRAID!CHEERS GUYS ALL THE BEST :dance:

The rearest and probably the one with most potencial is a SWB Manuel TT Slicktop. Good luck finding a good example of one of them mate. Ask Chunk for some pics.

well what can i say guys thanks for your advice i am now no clearer on the issue of me buying a 300zx to race but i now know not to write in CAPITAL LETTERS :headvswal Anyway if anyone would be able to give me any advice on running these beasts on nitrous (without grammer advice ;) )i would really appreciate it?Thanks again boys.Nice to see this owners club has got a sense of humour my bros got a Honda NSX and we met them at SantaPOD last year and my god what a bunch of stuck up there on arse snobs!So much so hes selling it and getting a Db7 instead ha ha.All the best :bow:

I cant give you any techie advice, but could sell you my car if you like!

 

It's a UK Manual TT, not a SWB, but I'm sure someone on here will tell you (eventually!!) the pros and cons of the long and shorties....

 

As far as I know, there is very little difference in speed between the 2, so that might not be a consideration for you

doesnt Vinz run Nitrous? but he hasnt been on here in yonks...

I,m not sure of the spec on Vinces motor but he is running nitrous and its kicking out 530bhp :shock: :shock: lucky git :cool:

Lady smallfry,s got nitrous i think.

I believe Chopper is/was running Nos on his NA also.
