If you mean the Conzult software then I really dont think so. However you can get it from Danny (DTA Motorsport) in our traders section.

If, indeed, you are refering to our ConZult diagnostic software then the quick answer is No - it cannot be shared as a condition of the End User License Agreement (EULA). You can purchase a full ConZult kit from me or through our European HQ. If you have built your own DIY interface using one of the schematics available from certain websites then our standard diagnostic software will not work on it (safety feature). You can however purchase a "software-only" version through us which has been specifically designed to work with the DIY interfaces. Please note though that we will only provide support on the software and not the DIY hardware. If you need any more information please feel free to e-mail me on info@dta-motorsport.co.uk.

Kind regards,

Dan

Not really sure what he's after, but we tend to like people who contribute, rather than just leech !

Thanks ! But i am interested in Nissan Data Scan Software not in ConZult !!! At least not for the moment ! And regarding people who do "not contribute" there is my problem with this software: i CAN'T pay with paypal (wich the seller wants) here in Roumania!!!

Nissan Data scan software is a kind of inferior alternative mini-version of Conzult...which you still have to pay for.

I would suggest contacting the vendors for alternative payment methods. Rather than asking for illegal copies on a Public forum.

I've never heard of Nissan Data SCan - and google is a tad unhelpful in this regard! Anyone have a link?

oooh interesting. But as far as I can see, the ConZult is better? Oh, you said that already!

I am sure these guys would reply positively if someone wanted to buy and couldn't have a PayPal account. Oh, you said that too! :D

Oh and if you follow the link in the NZ site which one of your links goes to, there is even a free version of the software. But I guess you 'd then have to build your own interface and cable and whatnot.

I have ordered a cable and software from the guy in NZ. He emailed the software and the cable is in the post. I have installed it on my laptop but without anything to connect to I can't really offer any more info yet.

I will let you know how I get on with it, but given the price I thought it was worth a look before investing in ConZult.

Certainly would be interested in hearing how you get on. How much does the postage work out at?

David

it is only £60 quid for something that does more or less everything we want it to though.

On the day I bought mine the $ was very weak and I ended up paying £48. The Guy in NZ was really communicative and helpful.

I said I would let him know how I got on and if there would be any interest from anyone on here when I have had a look. Obviously if it's good I will say (likewise if I have problems) - I will let you know if I can get a group buy discount.

Cable should come next week.

Hi,

This is kind of interesting. Does anybody know where the Consult schematics are available? I'm not after blagging a free copy of ConZult, just I'm a software engineer by profession so I'm interested in fiddling a bit. I've been wondering for a while if it might be possible to hook a computer to the ECU via an RS232-based link.

Thanks,

Ivan, have you got your cable yet? Maybe I should have asked this before I ordered mine today - couldn't resist!

David

sorry guys the cable came on Wednesday, I went and plugged in immediately and it all worked as described on the website.

You have a screen of dials that can be preselected to show all the sensors (rev's throttle position, speed, injector duty cycle, water temp, etc, etc.) and at the bottom of the screen are a bunch of registers (e.g. power steering pump soleniod) that have on/off states.

All this is configurable in the preferences.

I was also able to view and reset my error codes - I had a det sensor error due to a loose connection that had been keeping the car in safety boost. I was able to reset this and the car now runs much much much much better (95% duty cycle on the injectors tells it's own story).

Data logging is available for runs as are speed tests (e.g. 0-60 times).

I took it out for a run down the carriageway with a friend who has more technical understanding than me. He sat with teh laptop in his hands and was able to see exactly what the car (and me) was doing - he aslo nearly left a stain on my seat he was that excited about the tuning possibilities.

All in all I would give this a really big thumbs up. ;) :smash:

ConZult it is not! but for those of us who want to see what the car is doing (espicially on the track or a night out playing) then I can see that it will be ideal for the money.

I Will bring it to the SW meet on Sunday so that it can speak for itself.

Nothing to do with showing off a new toy at all (where is that whistling, hands in pockets smiley?).

Providing that everyone is going to make it to the right time and place......... :slap:

Drivin Ivan

Not post whoring but I did say that I would have a crack at plugging it into a UK car for Jason (the guy in NZ).

So if anyone is bringing a UK car on Sunday and is willing .............

Drivin Ivan

Sounds great Ivan. I've also ordered the cable and have the software. Will be a nice addition to my in-car computer.

How long did your cable take to arrive in the end ?

I looked at this because it sounded like a good bit of kit, (still does) but they had run completely out of interface cables. I got Conzult instead which I must admit is excellent so will be interested to see how this compares..sounds quite good though..keep us posted..

The cables are availble here, for about £30-£40

No reason why it wont work on my current cable I guess....shame no one local has it to test.
