Starch, sugar and traces of potassium? And tryptophan? And lots of other stuff. Probably.

but what gives it , its flavour??? hmmmm?

E110, E 134, E235, E278, E689 and Carrotein for colour

 

Stuffed full of addatives, chuck it in the bin and find somthing more healthy :D

I could very well be mistaken but.........

 

IIRC in an old pub trivia quiz it came out that a banana contained the same amount of poison (irritant maybe) as 1000 bee stings. I can't remember exactly why it doesn't have the same effect.........

As many of you will know, a banana is not a fruit - it's actually a type of fish (according to Terry Pratchet anyway).

It's actually a HERB, (not that sort! ;) ) and the banana itself is actually a juicy OVERY!

 

Also, banana plants/herbs can WALK! They move about 1 metre over the life of the plant.......
