Hi guys, have a problem with my central locking and wondered if anyone could help please?

When i activate/deactivate the alarm, the drivers door locks/unlocks ok, but the passenger door does nothing.

If i operate the drivers door lock with the key, still the passenger door does nothing.

The interior light is still working ok, so am i right in saying that the fuse for the central locking should be ok? They are on the same fuse yes?

Does it sound like the locking motor in the passenger door has packed up?

sounds like a good place to start to me

This is weird, this has just started happening to me today...

I had the same problem first passenger door went then both doors!! , turned out to be the following : in the door , there is a metal clip which goes onto a metal rod that controls the locking and unlocking. Sometimes that comes off as its only held on by a small screw and noticed on the zed its quite tight so does come off , if it is this , all u need to do is take the door trim off and look for the metal rod and re attach the small metal clip/block to it ,

I'd go with this, or you may need a new motor (probably a new motor, unless someone has been playing around in your door)

I'm about to fit my new passenger motor, as after a year of ownership and the central locking not working properly it's really starting to bug me now ;) Have a word with some of the guys breaking Zeds or AndyZ
