I disabled the HICAS on Saturday using the spade connector method (big thanks to Legrath for the idiot guide :) ) - the difference is fantastic! The rear-end feels tighter and I can actually feel how much grip there is now.

My question is using this method, is it ok to run the car with the HICAS shorted for a few months until I get a removal bar put in? I'd get one tomorrow, knowing the difference it makes, but a clutch and flywheel have to come first.

Cool :) - I'd hate to have to go back to how it was, now that I've experienced the joys of HICASlessness!

Didn't think it would make that much diff, but i wouldn't go back now..... once again JD
