Hey,

I have posted recently about wobbling and jerking with the steering, got the balancing and tracking done. Still there!!

I have noticed that me steering wheel ain't straight when going straight, it's about 5 degrees to the right, only slight, but you can notice it. Also when I take my hands off the wheel it wants to veer left straight away. What could be causing this. I don't mind how much it costs just want a smooth ride!! It's really horrible especially when cornerning at any speed!!

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Cheers

Jon

Could be your track rod ends, or the top suspension links. These links are a weak point on many Nissan's as the bushes tend to wear out. Could also be a sticky caliper warping your brake discs.

are you sure its not the back end kicking out? rear Hicas link arms/bushes are a common problem.

I'm not sure now, it may be the rear. I turned the steering in "park" either way, and got a slight clunking noise coming from th rear axle! Could also be the brakes I took the pads out of the front and they were almost jammed I think to the disc, so the caliper may just be too tight. I need a garage to have a look, but no-ones got any slots for a month!!
