i have recently purchased a conzult and whilst my z32 is in the shop for its ice install, i have been given a loan car of a 200sx. i want to plug it into it just to try it out but cant find the conzult port anywhere under the driver side or fusebox area , can anyone enlighten me as to where it is , the 200sx is an early model, 91 :duffer:

According to the 200sx.org web site:

"Firstly, locate the CONSULT connector. It is in the driver's side foot-well fuse compartment (the socket at the bottom on RHD cars). "

Karl,

FYI - not all 200SX models came with a Consult plug. And the ones that did don't always have the same type plug - that's Nissan logic for you ...

As far as I'm aware, only the S13, S14 and S14a have the same type DDL connector in the car. If the car you've currently got is an S12 then you're out of luck I'm afraid.

looked in the fuse box , no plug :( oh well , just have to wait for my zed to come back !!

only S13's with the SR20DET (rare edition) have the DDL connector...all other S13's have the black (old type) diagnostic connector and are not consult compatible.

The conzult works fine on late model 200's, like the S14, S14a and S15.
