I was speaking with Eric, who mentioned about playing with an AFC to get my air fuel ratio better on normal unleaded. I get the occasional pink (detination) on normal, none on super.

I wanted to stay with unleaded, what with having a daily driver doing quite a few miles of motorway driving. Super seamed to cost too much.

I have thought of the AFC but realising that the AFC is probably going to cost £400 and each fill up on Super is £4 more I should stick to super... looking at it that's 100 fill ups, probably 3+ years worth.... darn why didn't I think of that earlier.

Thanks... you have made me answer my own questions!

Okay £400 was a little excessive. This is what I calculate, yes I obviously have too much time on my hands...

300 miles to 60 litres = 22.7mpg/5mpl (worst case)

Super - Unleaded = 6p (until Blair screws it up even more)

10000 miles a year / 5mpl = 2000 litres a year

2000 litres * 6p = £120 per year

£308/£120 = 2.5 years of super!

Time for me to go and waste some fuel!....
