Have to wait all this time and it does not even have network play in it.

the gt series is always put back until the guy who is making it is fully happy with it....its always been the case thats why the series is so good as the make sure its near perfect......its much the same with the metal gear series......just think you have burnout 3 c.o.d half life2 and of course eve online until then

i wouldn't mind the delay *if* they actually got the network play sorted. That would be a big improvement over GT3 and well worth it. Let's hope the main man says "put it in" maybe that's why it is late. who knows?

LOL @ you and Eve online........... never played it. I suppose i ought to broaden my horizons........ :D

I read that the delay on GT4 (and MGS3) was due to them having to translate to German, French, Spanish etc. (plus give us the missing vowels from the US release).

Shame about the lack of online play - the cynic in me reckons it'll either be a seperate expansion pack, or they're saving it for the PS3 version.

I couldn't give a rat's ass about online play, I only play console games when my mates are round anyway...

I have sat through the first intro on MGS 3 (USA) and it took nearly an hour!

game begins................

two minutes later I shot a dart at an aligator the it was yak, yak, yak again.

I then turned it off and not been back since.

Just same as MGS 2 then but with more grass.

Only joking I did'nt really give it a chance as it would have taken too long.....

MGS3 has been out in american for a while m8

my lad has it, played and finished it, hes an absolute mgs fiend

played all of them now and finished them all, it was the only game lately

that has got him off the net, as he plays americas army EVERY minute he can

So how many people are going to buy the GT4 wheel to play the game with? I'm certainly getting one after having a go of the one Metalwop bought.

Do you have to buy it? I am happy with the standard controller.

LOL something i found out myself by accident not so long ago, if you gently press the buttons on the controller it progressively applies that button. i.e. gently press the throttle for part throttle. Squeeze a bit more, you get a few more revs.

Is this well known? As i am used to the old PS1 controller buttons which were on or off lol

I found GT3 to be much more fun using a wheel rather than the standard controller. Unfortunately my Logitech Momo wheel doesn't work with GT4: Prologue so I don't think it's going to work with the full game. Besides, I want one of the new 900 degree lock to lock wheels ;)

the head honcho says that network play will be available in a separate edition of the game later next year (read that as 2006 then)
