Was this on a Motorway?

minimum is 3 points and £60 fine, i dont know how bad the filth reckon 83 in a 70 is.

I sympathise with you Trin. I'll be getting 3 points and handing over £60-00 to Humberside Constabulary for doing 84mph on the M180 on a quiet Sunday morning.

Thing is I was in the other "Zed" - the Zafira FFS!!!!!!!!!

83 in a 70 is not something to worry over. prob 3 points and £60 max or you may even get the chance if its running in ure area to do the advanced driver thinngy where you have to spend a day in therapy watching vids and being shown nasty things that happen to sppeeders....ure points are magic'd away but you pay a bigger fine......proof thats its not about road safety and all about revinue

You could always ask people to get you a radar detector for xmas

Mark

83 in a 70! - you could have killed a child!!

Seriously tho, very hard luck, infuriating is this sort of crap!

Was it a traffic cop who stopped you or did you go thru a laser trap?

Like everyones said, 3 points and 60 quid in stealth tax. :-(

Trin,

I take it was one of the Vans then. As others have said if you send it back you should only get a 3 pointer and a £60 notes fine :slap:

I think in theory they could take you to court for that (in which case the sky's the limit) but it'll almost certainly be the 3 points and £60 - might even be nothing.

Tut Tut!!

You deserve a spanking for that! :D

Trinity- go real slow from now on. If you get another one, you will loose your license and have to apply for a provisional again and re-take your test.

It happend to my pal- he got done for speeding twice within 2 years of getting his license. He went to court to try and get away with it, but all they do is bump you up to 6 points and the DVLA say license please!
