I'm going to put on some new tyres very soon. At present I have some very old Pirelli P700s on but they are not very round any more, possibly causing a vibration.

 

I have some after market rims on that came with the car when I first got it. They are stamped as 'Nissan' on the alloy surface itself and have a centre disc with the name SPARTAN on it. Does anyone know anything about them?

 

The main problrm is the size. They rim is marked 16 x 6 1/2 JJ. and has a 205/55/16 tyre on it. Will this rim take the more usual Jap Spec 225 tyres?

 

Also, Phil from CS Woods commented that the rear wheel could do with a spacer to 'fill in the rear arches a bit more' Are these easy to get? What size can they be?

I'd try and get a set of proper ZX wheels, or wheels wide enough for a ZX.

 

There are a few sets of 2nd hand stock wheels on here.

Apparantly...you can. Michelin recommend 225's be

fitted to rims.....6'' - 8''. 7'' is the preferred choice though.

Have spoke to a guy in the trade who says they will go

on!
