I'm french(yes i know, nobody's perfect) and i've a twinturbo :bow: from UK,anybody know if it's possible to have a vehicule registration document with a FRENCH address? :confused:

why not just register it in france? I suppose you could have a registered address in france on a uk document (as the address at which the vehicle is usually kept) but unless you plan to spend most of your time in the uk, why bother?

People are getting new log books so that all of Europe have the same one. This must be for a reason.

i just need a vehicule registration document with a FRENCH address to driving the car during is homologation in FRANCE,the last keeper was english but he live in USA during a long time and buy the 300zx,when he came back in UK there isn't problems for the registration. :confused:

now this man live in FRANCE,that's why i've buy this english car but i can't registrer it in FRANCE before french homologation:some parts to change like headlights,horn,back view mirror,....and a lot of control by french drire :smw: (dvla equal)

it take a long time to do it,something like a year :shock:

i assume your keeping the car in france

but want to register it in england to get round the headlight swop and various rules that france have?

if it's anything like spain you will only be able to keep it registered for approx 6 months, my mates dad has just took a pajero across and is having to do a bit of work to mot it etc in spain, britain is the same after so long you have to conform to uk specs, so as jock says i doubt it's worth it OR legal
