aerial probs

My aerial has decided to play up and now only goes up a couple of notches. I've tried cleaning it with wd40 but it hasnt helped. Anyone know if i can just buy a universal replacement or will it have to be a nissan one?? I dont think i fancy a second hand one as it is proberly 10 years old and will soon be like mine. Any ideas????

Do a search on the forum for aerials. There's a few people who have installed stick-on things around the front windscreen, which seem to work quite well.

Could be the aerial relay.

I had a similar problem so I got another from AndyZ, replaced it and it's worked fine since.

The relay is a white-ish cigarette pack size box that bolts to the R/H wheel-arch just under the boot trim panel.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
