after looking for 4 months I have finally bought my first Zed !! bit disapointed though I couldnt find a turbo targa and had to settle for a NA auto, still it only has 49000 miles and is a 1995 model (mreg) I paid five grand for it, would you say this is a fair price,

Also does anyone know if I could drop a turbo engine into it, and if so is there any mods that have to be made

cheers.

Someone who has done this recentley is 'Topless'. He converted his soft-top from NA to TT, and a very nice conversion it is too.

Post a thread for his attention in General, or do a search, to find out more details.

HTH

And YES, I think thats a fair price.

Live with the NA for a while.....well till after the winter anyhow!!!

thats probably good advice chris, never had a rear wheel drive before, (apart from a 2.0 sierra years ago, but that does`nt really count ) just had my heart set on a turbo.

Hi and welcome, these guys are really helpful so you've come to the right place!

I like you never had a RWD unless you count my 1.6 MK1 Sierra (Hardly the same) I still hardly ever put my foot down, especially in this weather, bloody thing wants to go sideways all the time... but it's SOOOOO much fun drifting out of empty roundabouts at 2 in the morning, I don't think I'll ever get bored of that... :hyper:

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i had the same trouble - ended up with a mint (appart from a few water leaks recently) N/A manual

Beautiful cars no matter tubby or not

Well done for getting one

Check out a thread stared on 22 November by Apache (don't know how to post a link, perhaps someone can help).

Quite a few folk who've had TTs and NAs prefer the NA!

It's a goodprice compared to other cars - a similar age and mileage Merc C class 220 (which isn't that special) would cost about the same.

There are cheaper Zeds about but yours is quite a late one with low miles so it sounds ok.
