Fuel pressure gauge

I have a fuel pressure gauge i want to pumb in, If i was to T off just after the filter will this display the same pressure as at the injectors. if not where do i need to connect it?

    No don't connect it there you wont get a proper reading,you need to connect it just before the FPR,and If it is a mechanical guage it MUST stay inside the engine bay (law).
