Hey everyone

After taking my Zed for a quick blast up and down the air strip at work, I felt a hell of a lot of heat coming up from under tha car. First time I've felt it cos I was wearing shorts. Frekking cold outside tho! There was a slight burning smell too... Felt the alloys and there were really hot, especially as I'd only been driving for about 10 mins with no hard breaking. Didnt think there'd be that much heat soak through to the wheels. Any ideas guys and gals????!

Cheers Andrew

mine does this!

think its normal after a big blast ,could be a few drips of oil dropping on to your zorst check oil dipstick level for over filling

or possibly brake piston/s sticking slightly causing friction=heat possible burning smell HTH

Cheers Greg, I'm happier knowing that mine wasnt the only one!! :D

Im guessing as you were on an airstrip you may have gone a little bit quicker than 70mph, from silly speeds even gentle braking will get your brakes VERY hot, its a proper heavy car!!! gob on the disks to double check its the brakes that are generating the heat!! :D

Yeah, breaks were cooking! More concerned with the hot burning smell...

Living with an airfield in my 'back yard' is great! Awesome, as long as I dont get caught LOL! :hyper:

Don't worry - a slight burning smell is quite normal... ;)
