I've installed it, use a shed load of different types of software. Not a single problem.

lol, i installed it last week, has completely fooked

my laptop, apparantly this is common?

A mate of mine has spent close to 8hrs trying to

un-install it, to no avail.

Probably gonna have to rebuild it now

Am having to use my dads pc now :(

I'll think twice before installing these so-called

'upgrades' in future.

I installed it on my computer and it didnt load up afterwards.

Did a repair stall and it didnt work again.

I had to delete the windows directory and install from fresh. I didnt in stall SP2 and I wont be doing.

Had a prob with XP and SP2 sorted it. Have been running fine for month(s) now!! :hyper:

Installed SP2 on 2 pc's at work (AMD Athlon XP2400+XP, Pentium II 350). Both fine.

Installed SP2 on 1 of my pc's at home (AMD Athlon XP2000+XP) and it had a fit. Internet explorer fooked up. Could not get it to load web pages. Could not fix, so managed to uninstall it ok. PC works ok and is back to normal.

HTH Rob.

How did u sort the sp2 problem splatt? :(

I had a prob with XP and my virus scanner / firewall (it was a bit old!) and as a result XP died and I had to re load XP.

When I did I found I had loads of security probs and on the advice of Mike Groves did the SP2 update which sorted it.

Sorry, cant tell u how but it has worked absolutely faultless since I did...

I havent put it on my laptop as I dont use that on the net and am now reluctant to do so reading this!!!

If it ain broke and all that..

Sorry I cant b more specific

regards

Pat

Oh, by the way...I dont use Internet explorer or outlook but use Mozilla (which I must say is the biz once u get used to it!!)

Have installed it on over 20 PCs so far and no problems to report! Has actually sorted out a couple of issues
