Had new springs (white line) and shocks (Koni) fitted to the zed and noticed front off-side wheel is almost touching the wheel arch whereas near-side is ok.

Having investigated further it seems the car is not lower at one side, but the off-side wheel is closer to the front of the wheel arch than the near-side wheel.

Is this normal?? Does it just need wheel alignment?? The car is almost undriveable.

Can anyone recommend someone in the Preston/Blackpool area who could look at this, set it up and have it laser aligned etc.?? It has a really low front on it so that may limit my choices. :D

Cheers

Rich

No that's very much not right.. something is bent, broken or not attached properly in there and it needs sorting sharpish..

I'd say speak to Andy (Duff) as he's up that way. He won't be able to laser align it, but I'll bet he'll be able to find out what is fuxx0red in no time, fix it, and then get it aligned for you too..

Unless he's busy being drunk of course.. (He's a fine upstanding pillar of society, honest.. :nelson: )

Yeah Andy is your man.

If you go down the Docks on a friday evening and ask for Mandy, someone will point you in the right direction for him! :x: ;)

I noticed this when I changed my wheels. However, my nearside is closer to the front of the arch than my offside. Drives fine and only ever brushes the arch when cornering left at high speed :(

I seem to remember the offside hitting a curb a little while ago - this may have caused my problem. Be interested to hear what the solution is to yours though Rich...

Just pondering if a collapsed tie bar bushing could allow everything to rotate far enough forward? Not sure though - I don't *think* so, but I've been known to be wrong ;)

Where's that man duffers when you need him? Probably drunk again ;)
