Just a warning really to anyone who uses this seller who goes by the username V32det on ebay.

Basically I won an item for my zed on the 10th of October. The seller says he is based in the Northwest. For this particular item postage & packing was going to be £20.00. So I thought seeing as I'm in Lancs I would email to see if it was convenient to pick the item up, thinking it would save him time and hassle. :)

I have sent a few more emails and he's never replied back to me yet and I'm not holding my breath that he ever will

The item in question was a plenum which I think there were 3 other bids for.

Now, although I won it for a low price, and I think this is the reason he hasn't bothered replying, I think it's a pretty shitty deal FACT! :(

I mean that's the whole point with ebay isn't it, you put a reserve on an item then you at least get a minimun price want you want for it.

At least he could of come back to me and said look it went for less than I wanted really do you mind paying £x amount for it which I would of considered doing, but no not a fecking thing...!

I've posted this up to see whether anybody else has had similar dealings with this particular seller...

anyone?

cheers Jon.

sorry to hear that m8

BUT reading his feedback no way would i have bid anything from him in the first place

but I think that negative feedback has only appeared after my auction took place, otherwise I would'nt have bothered bidding, would'nt of touched him with a barge pole as the saying goes :slap:

I'm just glad I did'nt pay for the item, I nearly sent it just on the off chance that I might then get a reply but I thought no b*llocks to it!

cheers Jon..

Hi Jon

Please refer to my thread "boost controller advice".

You have been lucky mate, I bought a boost controller of this guy and it no use at all, he wont refund the money and as with you he put me on his ignore list on email. :nono:

I think its time to name and shame this guy because a lot of people have asked who he is and I know who he is, whats worse he is a trader on this forum.

Everyone please note the guy ripping people off is-

David Chung of Petrol Heads North west :xxx:

Do not buy from this guy if you check his ebay history you will see my complaint.

As yet he has maintained his service to people on this forum but its only a matter of time before he rips someone off on here as well.

I was holding back on his name to give him a chance to make good his bad dealing but he will not budge so I have nothing to loose.

I hear you

If you're the one who left the feedback "Conveniently lost my items, maybe i should have bid more", then he has replied - he's left you negative feedback!

It says "I appoligised and gave you a FULL refund, this is the eBay legal procedure" :(

If that is the ebay legal procedure, then it's a bit poor, frankly.

The guys a snake! be warned

For a week or 2 i was trying to organise buying a set of standard wheels off him but the emails/communication just dried up - either sold them to someone else or could not be bothered with me/the sale.... I could not be bothered to chase him any more...

Well looks like he's well and truly screwed up in terms of this forum, talk about shooting yourself in the foot. I'm all for traders who provide a service with the best intentions of the clubs members because it's not always about money you know they are helping you out but the bad 'uns we can do with out. :slap: :nono: :mac1:

cheers Jon.

Quite right too! I think the traders on here on very reliable and trustworthy and if guys like this are brought out in the open its better for them because it keeps their reputation intact and the sales then go to the guys who deserve them.

I'm away for a week I'll check this thread out when I come back for sure

if he's not answering your corrospondence - post in their forum.

there's an umoderated section where you could leave a few choice phrases if you felt the need ;)

bet you any money they moderate that!

Firstly the plenums..If you look back on my previous post re:Massive PHNW Clearence, you will see that we needed the room so was getting rid of a lot of stock. Yes we put some items on eBay but some items were either sold elsewhere or thrown out. One eBay member did pay, and got an instant refund explaining the above in short term. Whats the problem???

Wheels, you asked me about a set of wheels, and we had several conversations over email. This does not mean you purchased, paid for or even reserved them you just asked for prices. I told you that I was extremely busy at the time to pursue this further....I cannot see the problem in this.

Boost controller...Dave ??? bought a boost controller with missing parts, as advertised. Not from petrolheads as I was not trading at the time, also Dave was not even a member of this club. Dave has had problems finding the missing parts at the right price. eBay is an auction, I buy things from time to time and have been left unstuck. Knowing this I also take chances on purchases, its the name of the game. Dave Iam sorry you came unstuck it was certainly not intentional.

Now for the hundreds of customers who have received excellent service at the best prices around. Have you got any concerns, I very much doubt it. We work 18 hours each day inc weekends to keep up with the high demand of parts requested by the members and also many other sources. We provide an excellent service and save you guys a fortune. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE If any one else thinks that they have been ripped off then COME FORWARD before the thread gets locked.

Its not PHNW who have shot them selves in the foot at all, we have an excellent loyal customer database and all the parts you would ever want for your Z. If the above members whish to get ripped off then visit your local Nissan dealers. Iam personally disappointed re the above accusations but ninjas will be ninjas

Boost controller...Dave marley bought a boost controller with missing parts, as advertised. Not from petrolheads as I was not trading at the time, also Dave was not even a member of this club.

Nothing to do with me. That's a different Dave! :slap:

My apologies Dave,

Dave, that is a farcical reply IMO.

My gripe with you is that I openly and honestly won an ebay auction which in your words has nothing to with this forum!

The item was a plenum, now I sent you emails regarding collection of this item to save you time and money on packaging and sending it out. :p seeing as I was in the North West.

I received no reply from you, this is going back to the 10th of this month, I received no explanations at all!

In fact I thought of just sending you the payment on the off chance you might just send it out but I thought better of it.

Firstly, Tell me what the hell has 'Massive PHNW clearance' gotta do with an Ebay auction! :slap:

& Secondly why put items on Ebay if you've already sold them or thrown them away.

I afraid I don't consider myself to be a ninja I only wish I was at times it might come useful!

I think you need to sharpen up on your communication between your customers that's just some free advice... ;)

cheers Jon..

This doesnt sound normal practise to be fair Jonny, i know Dave had a lot of hosting problems and his mail was down for a couple of weeks. I know Dave has given a lot of people a great service as they have told me how highly they regard him.

Just my 2 pence worth :)

in Daves defence, I've found him to be a sound guy and always willing to help, no matter how small the problem.

What Iam saying Johnny, is that the plenums were indeed misplaced. There are at least 5 members on this club who have asked me for a plenum or two over the last month. All got the same reply, now why would I tell members who have nothing to do with my eBay transactions that I had no stock. .......exactly......

I sent a message to those who bid on the items (4 people) in all. All but your good self understood. This issue you have with myself, why are you discussing it on a 300zx forum??. Yes iam a member, so what you have my email, my MSN and my mobile phone No. You should always try and resolve matters first with the trader, then if that fails take it to the committee. This you have failed to do.

sorry to hear some of you think you've had a bad deal. but i just had a zorst off dave c today. spoke to him about a month ago. told me that it was on his car at the mo. as i was'nt in a big rush told him this, and to give me a ring when it was off. dave rung me 2 weeks later to tell me that the weld was bad on the one side and not worth having. only days after rung me to tell me of another stainless one which has polished up luvly, cant wait to put it on next weekend. the f*&ked zorst was there aswell. if your thinking that he sold it someome else. and is also in my garage for when i get round to do a de-cat. thread seemed one sided there must be more people who have used dave with no probs.

Actually I'm going to point out that I did not realise you Dave C were the guy on ebay with username v32det.

Therefore, why do you think I have only emailed you through your ebay contact address!

If I would have known I would of contacted you through this forum.

It's only since I posted that I found out it was you.

I am free to let other members know of any bad experiences I may have anywhere, anytime, anyplace ;) ! People can then make up there own minds.

I never failed in contacting you Dave you have failed me, :(

Now this subject is closed as far as I'm concerned! :D

cheers Jon.

I'm getting splinters in my arse from this fence I'm sitting on so I'm gonna have to say something now.

I know Dave, have dealt with Dave, have even helped him out a few times - I would NOT have done this if I thought he was dodgy in any way what-so-ever!!! I also know how busy it gets when you are trying to deal with so many customers. Its difficult, no VERY difficult sometimes to get back to people in a timely manner. People I have dealt with will back me up on this LOL ;) Johnny, I can only assume you've been unlucky to experience a very rare slip up - nothing more, nothing less ;) I know both of you and you are both 100% genuine people, which makes this thread a little bit daft really  ;)

Group hug anyone? :D LOL ;)

CheerZ,

Andy

I'll back you up on that Andy!

Also, I've had dealings with Dave and found him to be very helpful and honest.

Good luck with splinters M8, remember to get the needle as hot as you can  cheers Andy.

Seriously though I genuinely did not know that or did'nt relate to that Dave was PHNW trader on here otherwise like I said I would have gone down other avenues...

I can fully understand the degree of comittment he has shown to other members/customers and don't doubt it for one minute.

I up for a group hug lmao  :)

subject closed! :duffer:

cheers Jon.

I think daves a pretty sound chap, having spent a fair bit of time chatting to him at billing, however, I am a little concerned on this missing plenum thing mate cause you just mailed me saying you've got six? and I was going to buy a few from you so whats the deal? and forgive me for being silly mate but how the **** can you loose several plenums?

Steve that was the other day, as other members will tell you I ordered another batch which only came in this week. I do have only 3 left, and Johnny now that I have more stock you are welcome to have one of these. I now understand that you did not know who I was, so for me too lets put this one to bed.

Johnny feel free to give me a call anytime
