When I accelarate hard my water temp gauge goes down!!!! As soon as you release the throttle it goes back to norm (approx half way). The car runs fine and is not over heating or anything. Any ideas anyone? Is it just a worn out temp sender or something? Help much appreciated.

I have, its full!!!!!!!

Check the right hand temp sender connection on the upper metal rad pipe as it leaves the front of the engine (lookin from front).

I have had this exact problem you have discribed! As Andy said check the temp guage sender (black socket). On my car the spade connector was loose on the sender, I just soldered it secure and problem solved.

Thanks People, will do it later. Cheerrs
