Hello all,

Just put in my water temp sender and now i need to wire the guage up, at the mo i am having one wire straight to the sender and i am piggy backing into the the illumination wires from my boost guage for the lights on my water guage but my question is .... I have to put a + and - from the water gauge also so can i run these straight to the battery or is there an easier wire i could piggy back into near the drivers side???

Cheers,

Ant :)

Thanks all yep thats what I did in the end Kirbz, cheers mate.

Another question what should the temp read when fully warm??

Cheers

80 - 85 celcius ... May go up to 90 celcius when you really shift. Well thats what I reckon ... drove my Zed today for two hours .. hard driving and a bit of a rest. My aftermarket gauge is shit as it doesn't have the correct sensor for the gauge. My stock gauge was perfect as usual ....

Blew away a MR2 just for a laugh ... GOD I love my Zed. Shame my temp sensor is a load of shit ...

210 ... hmmmmmm. Doesn't sound right. As long as it goes back down to 175 mate.

Luv you car by the way .. thought you had sold it.

Thanks Chris and Kirbz, mine is reading 80c so I think it is spot on, does move a little up and down no higer than around 87, just goes to show that the standard gauge aint as accurate as the aftermarket ones.

Cheers,

Ant :)
