HELP!!!

 

Has anyone got an idiots guide to plenum removal (or wants to make one)

 

Ive never removed one before, but need to do the plenum water bypass thing and feed the water straigt to the turbos.

 

Ive gave up on it for the day, but i can see what my week going to spent doing.

 

All help welcomed, thanks.

Just try to label all the vac hoses as you go, as there are quite a few of them, and remember that there are more water hoses than you think ;)

 

PCV hoses can be a bit of a pain if they're old and hard - you might want to invest in new ones along with new PCV's too if you haven't changed yours already, it's a doddle with the inlet off.

 

EGR pipes (front of plenum, just behind each TB and on the bottom) are a git to get off.. Best to use a stubby spanner, but tie a bit of string around it and then around your wrist, or you will end up losing one into the engine bay! (Ask me how I know.. :rofl: ) And try not to drop the bolts too (as they're upside down) - requires a bit of deft finger work (ooer)..
