I have a Silver Jap Import.

 

I cannot find touch-up paint and laquer kits in the usual places.....Halfords etc. I assume it is because no UK cars were Silver.

 

The colour No. on the Vin Plate is 673.

 

Any help appreciated

You could visit a local bodyshop which has its own mixing scheme and get

them to mix u the smallist amount which i think is 1/10th of a litre, but to

be honest even if u use the right colour putting it on with a touch up brush

it never matches properly especially on metallics.

 

I,d be tempted to find the closest available silver touch up and use that

if you are only using it for stonechips , either way you,ll still see the touch

up spots. HTH :)

Found a 1991 colour chart - Colour No. 673 => Platinum Mist

The silver is a base colour apparently & very easy to find. You could get it from Halfords like I did.
