One simple thing to bear in mind is the degradation of fuel. 98RON will lose about 2-3 RON over a 48 hour period, after that it degardes less slowly. I guess the same/similar is true for 97RON.

 

Having said that, you get some very funny looks when you walk into the petrol station and, before filling up, ask them when the last tanker-load was delivereed and how full or empty the underground tank was before it was topped up. :D :D
